New Media

Here at Goldfish Bowl Productions we like to see the world from the inside looking out. The convex shape of the goldfish bowl expands and distorts the world view of a goldfish, it is our aim to do the same.

With 360 degree programming and multi-platform product stations - we can access new realms of interactivity. In other words, we've done some websites for the programmes. Our new media initiatives include:

The World's First Twitter Soap Opera

Research shows that teenagers - much like goldfish - have thirty second memories. In creating a soap opera where the episodes last no longer than 140 characters, we can cater for this market. Below is the pilot episode of "Sunday Rainbow".

New! Goldfish Bowl App For iPhone 3GS

This ingenious and fun application shows a Goldfish swimming around in a bowl. Touch the screen and the Goldfish will speak the name of one of our programmes.

Warning: the Goldfish dies after thirty days.

Red Button

All our programmes have Red Button Options. Simply press the Red Button on your TV remote and the word "Loading" will appear on your screen for half an hour. Three quarters of the screen will then be taken up by small blurred writing, giving you interesting extra content - such as the Focus Puller's video diary, and other items not used as DVD extras. A fun extra is trying to guess which combination of buttons to press to make the content go away. Not as easy as it looks!

New! Dale's Overnight Ghost Hunts

Dale Winton ('Supermarket Sweep', 'Pets Win Prizes') returns to Goldfish to front a brand new spooktacular show from different haunted locations throughout the UK.

Dale's last show for GB, in which various sections of an orchestra competed with each other to lose weight ('Gastric Bands') was huge hit on Bravo Daytime.

'Dale's Overnight Ghost Hunts' willbreak new ground in a format never seen before on British Television (except on 'Most Haunted').

Each week Dale will lead an intrepid team of celebrity ghosthunters around a reputedly haunted location.

"I'm looking forward to putting the willies up as many people in the UK as possible," smiled Dale. "I've always been fascinated by paramormal activity - especially when they do basketball in wheelchairs.

Anything you want to add to pad this out to a paragraph is fine by me, just get one of the juniors to proof-read it will you, otherwise this will end up on the actual website. Imagine that! Thanks for last night by the way. Really enjoyed myself! Don't worry, I won't say anything. D x.
